POLICY INFORMATION
To Schedule:
- Call the office at 303.477.9110 to set a start date. The office will coordinate leaving a key and payment.
- Sign and mail or fax a copy of the proposal to the office.
Customer Responsibilities:
- Remove all furniture, wall hangings (mirrors, pictures, etc.), drapes, plants, and all items in closets and pantries prior to our arrival.
- We hang plastic in any basic doorway for free. Customers will need to plastic off wider and taller areas themselves. We use only state of the art sanding equipment with self-contained vacuums, but sanding remains a very dusty process. Therefore, dust may accumulate in other areas of your home. A+ is not responsible for any house cleaning required as a result. However, we offer a 90% to 95% dust-free system at an additional cost.
- Any large appliances, which we are required to move to complete the work will be subject to an additional charge. We will not move gas stoves and customers must shut off and disconnect water lines to refrigerators that we have been contracted to move. Please remove anything that may spill or break in your refrigerator. We are not responsible for any damages to appliances.
- Any closet sliding or hanging doors will need to be removed and replaced (installations only).
- Cutting of doors, trim or carpet are subject to an additional charge and will not be performed unless clearly billed on the estimate.
- Pulling of carpet, tack strips, nails, and staples will have a charge of $75/hour, as will any prep work vital to the execution of your job.
- Any repairs done are charged $10 on each board with a $75 minimum.
- Paint touch-up may be needed on trim or walls after we are done. A+ is not responsible for paint touch-ups. All trim work done by A+ will need to be caulked and touched up by homeowner. Occasionally, when we remove your trim, it will break. If it cannot be fixed you may need to purchase new trim for your job from A+.
- If a stain color is requested, the customer will need to be there on the first day of sanding to choose the exact stain color.
- Please leave the final payment on the day of your final coat of finish.
- A+ will complete your job in a timely manner, however in the event of any delays, A+ will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by homeowner (i.e. hotel expenses, movers, meals, etc.)
